Check out the official video for “Elevate”:

Richie Kotzen has a rich history in music with notable collaborations with Fusion Jazz icons Greg Howe and Stanley Clarke among others. He drew the attention of music lovers worldwide with his tasteful guitar style and outstanding vocal capabilities on his solo albums. The Winery Dogs will definitely give him more exposure on the international level.

Mike Portnoy is no stranger to all-star collaborations; he has played with the best in the business and is one of the most hard-working drummers in the Progressive Rock / Metal scene. It will be interesting to see his ideas in this Trio setup.

Billy Sheehan is one of the main innovators of technical bass playing. He has skipped the classical bass groove approach and went for the in-your-face finger attack with his speed techniques and extravagant tapping. He has a lot to offer to this supergroup, expect machine gun bass licks and guitar / bass duels from hell.

Here’s what Portnoy had to say about The Winery Dogs:

“I am so excited about the Winery Dogs and am proud and honored to be working with two of the greatest musicians on the planet,” Portnoy said. “Richie Kotzen is such an unbelievable talent, as a vocalist, guitarist and songwriter. I think the Winery Dogs will finally get him the attention and recognition that he so richly deserves.
