  • Rami Rouhana’s Top Releases of October 2014

  • Haken – Restoration (EP)

Recommended track: Crystallised

Haken has been described as the current leading band in progressive metal/rock simply because it’s leading a new direction in the genre, inventing something new and at the same time taking from the old bands like “Gentle Giant”.
Fans of the band have been impatiently waiting for this EP after the huge success of the album “The Mountain” which topped countless top “Prog” charts. “Restoration” is a continuation of Haken’s greatness and is definitely a well recommended EP for all Prog fans.

This is a short nineteen -> “yes 19!” minute track.

For fans of: Gentle Giant, modern prog/rock with a distinct style.

  • Devin Townsend – Ziltoid, Dark Matters (Z2)

Recommended tracks: March of the Proozers and War Princess

Well produced, catchy and entertaining is what can be said about this sequel of the album “Ziltoid the Omniscient”.

For fans of: Progressive Metal, Symphonic Metal.
