The lineup this year was a great one due to its diversity and content, all the bands gave their best and they didn’t fail at rocking Mocean! It’s worth mentioning that for the second year, LebMetal.com were volunteering at the merchandise stand to support the bands releasing their CD’s.

In an effort to support LebMetal.com’s “Musical Figures” section, I’ll be covering as many Dan Swanö projects as possible; Behold Odyssey, a side project formed in 1999 by no other than Swedish multi-instrumentalist Dan Swanö. Odyssey’s self titled EP contains 3 songs with a total playing time of 19 minutes (progressive anyone?).

Sadly Zyklon-b’s lifespan was a very short one, they didn’t even release a full length album, they only have one EP and it deserves to be praised and acclaimed as one of the greatest releases from an underground band!

Absolace is a progressive metal band formed in 2007 which marks the coming together of individuals hailing from very diverse musical backgrounds, and is the brainchild of drummer Greg Cargopoulos. What makes this band’s lineup so unique is its diverse mix, bringing stars from various cultural backgrounds together.
